Extract as a zip and ppm C0338439.inf then "install".

Hmm a preview update (Well, driver.) for the insider branch for the upcoming 19H1 release of Win10 is it?

Well let's dump the profile file at least and see what's in that. :)

EDIT: Yeah driver branch 26.xx instead of 25.xx should have some fun in it.

EDIT: DXX profile for Resident Evil 2(REmake2)
    Last Year The Nightmare
    Sniper Elite 4
    Fallout 76

HighPerfGPU affinity flag for Fifa19 and PCMark10

Different branch I guess as the one for The Division 2 is not in this driver.
(It does appear to just control prefer dedicated GPU before integrated but still a notable difference between these two drivers though not a very big one.)

And then the INF but it's mainly the difference between supporting certain APU's and such and having all that stripped from these beta drivers which 19.1.2 is. :)

Still can see the branch and driver changes such as going from 18.50 to 19.10 and then the driver jumping from version 25.xx to 26.xx :)

That's this string in the atiapfxx.blb turned xml.

    18.50.15.01_20190122_1921

    to

    19.10.00.12_20190123_1444

Though the INF also has it and then there's the driver version string.

    25.20.15015.1002

    to

    26.20.11000.12002

Dated January 23rd instead of January 22nd. (Separate branch most likely.)

EDIT: And it seems there's a OGL profile for MSI Kombustor in these too.

EDIT: From the INF there's also three new files.

    amdxn32.dll
    amdxn64.dll
    ativvaxy_nv.dat

    And this coinst_18.50.dll

    is replaced by coinst_19.10.dll

EDIT: High School the Nightmare is this it seems.

School setting horror game from the looks of things.
(Never knew Pepsi could be quite that volatile.)

EDIT: Ah it's one of those few Discord games, was expecting the Epic store but nope.
(Liking the subversion here for the usual horror tropes that the blonde is smart enough not to try weapon modding for amateurs or melee combat against who knows what but instead goes for the shotgun,.)

(Late edit: Yeah it's a bit messy but some new profiles and a higher branch for the driver version from the looks of things though that's been mentioned already. Nice to see OGL 4.6 compliance at last and who knows what else will be in these once AMD releases the new version in full and we get some actual release notes for what they might contain.)

Still showing wddm 2.5 for me. But I'm still on 1809. Maybe wddm 2.6 is for insider versions ?

EDIT => yes sorry, it's in insider preview.

Nope, 19.1.2 also has 100% OGL 4.6 comp.

It could be support for DirectX 12 - DirectML

    More here -> https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/n...arket-gpus-part-2.423192/page-14#post-5627954

This technique has also been showcased during one of Microsoft's SIGGRAPH 2018 tech talks.
This talk, which is entitled "Deep Learning for Real-Time Rendering: Accelerating GPU Inferencing with DirectML and DirectX 12"
showcases Nvidia hardware upscaling Playground Games' Forza Horizon 3 from 1080p to 4K using DirectML in real time.
DirectML has the potential to improve the graphical fidelity of future console and PC games.

Now I can toggle this switch. It didn't work with 19.1.2. 19H1. I don't know what I'm doing . I have FS monitor of course.

VRR is the VESA standard isn't it? HDMI 2.1 though AMD has some existing solution for 2.0b and then I don't know quite how it is for Display Port 1.4 or newer. Guessing that helps with NVIDIA drivers now and probably AMD too.
(And Intel? Or maybe that's primarily via Intel with AMD on-die GPU solutions like Vega mobile.)

EDIT: Hmm the 7th is on Thursday, wonder if we can expect the new drivers including Vega VII support around Wednesday then. Perhaps though it could also be 19.1.2 with GPU support included for the V7 although if it has other things in there it might be a full new driver and a newer branch. We'll see I suppose. Nothing to do but wait and see how this is handled.
(Nothing in these Windows Update drivers from what I can tell.)

GameBar, GameMode, now VRR support on Win...

Either great news or (probably) a ton of problems.

19H1 or March 2019 though the feature seems to have landed in November already for insider builds released to the general public. :)
(Still a work in progress now going through stabilization and bug fixing so I would wait with using it outside of testing only.)

Only if windows insiders were for gamers. I felt this cancer at the period I was an insider. Not anymore, ever again. I will stay 100% public.

Soon - Radeon Software Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.2.1 support for Apex Legends and The Division 2 Private Beta. This release also improves on stability with fixes for end user issues and some performance improvements for Assassins Creed: Odyssey. In the next hour!

I have skimmed through "amdxn64.dll" with a hex editor.
Looks like AMD is cooking some raytracing stuff there!
