Unlocked Kaby Lake Core i3-7350K Pending?

without HT yes (some engine need more than 2t), but with HT it is more than enough for a small budget PC and an introduction to OC.

All I can say it's about time that Intel did this with the i3s since they did it with the Anniversary Pentium chip and that Chip seemed to OC quite well. I am interested in seeing how well an i3 chip would OC. It would be worth fulling around with a low end Gaming PC.

 

It would be interesting to see this dual-core bench marked with some newer DX12 games and high end GPU's.

I doubt the cpu's with higher core counts will pull very far ahead in most titles, but I'd like to see some real world numbers to back this up.
Benchmarking utilities like 3dmark are tailored to use every bit of hardware, where games might not be doing the same.
