If it isn't finished then they should delay it, the devs might be disappointed but they should be happy they have the freedom to delay it until it's done, it is strange that's it's so soon after the downgrade allegations though.

It is CDP Red's first attempt at a multi platform release, and they are a small company so can't blame them if it's been hard work.
I just hope it doesn't affect sales to much as delays tend to annoy some people.

 

Delay it as much as they like, will be a better game for us in the end.. While you others will wine and want them to release sooner and then complain about bugs.

 

Oh sweet may come out near my birthday just ordered the collectors edition tonight.

True and DA:I and GTAV are huge games in terms of content.

 

yeah, that's some really realistic looking ice right there. No low res textures there at all.

 

Let them delay is at much as they want. I don't care because I actually trust this dev.

People complain about games being delayed is just silly.

Look at the list of games that people complain about NOT being delayed.

Better safe than sorry.

 

If its a good game everybody will forget about the delay. If its rushed it'll be crucified. Delays are better.

 

"When it's done" is good for me.

 

Have you played DA:I and Unity? I'd rather not play another release that poor any time soon. If anything, and far as I'm aware that's still true, it just shows that CDProject are independent (dev/publisher), not just another EA lackey like Bioware are these days, and can chose how or when they wish to release their games, not be told.

 

It does put even more pressure on them to make it spot on though, and any issues at launch will likely be pounced upon.

The extra development time will also mean a much higher budget than originally accounted for, which means sales have to be higher now.

 

Don't get me wrong, i'm not criticizing them for delaying the game at all.

I just thought it was funny they saying "NO MORE DELAYS! C'MOOON, WE'RE NOT N00BS, OK !?" and then it got delayed again

Like someone said above, it would be better if he just said "It'll be released when it's done."

 

Many devs can learn something from Blizzard.

 

You mean copy what others are doing, dumb it down a bit so it can appeal to more people release the game and watch Blizzards huge fanboy crowd praise them for being innovative? We wouldn't have any games that way since everyone would be waiting for someone to release something thus no games would be getting made, ever! :nerd: :infinity:

I remember someone from Valve said it best - something like "People only complain up until the day the game is released. If the game is good, they stop complaining and start raving; if you don't get it right, they'll keep complaining forever."

 

There's always someone or a group who complains. Let's hope they pick the right group to ignore.

 

Oh man,i was so looking forward to feb 24,watching these trailers over and over...listening to the soundtracks when playing gw2...

 

gpu upgrade in january has been put back till april.
