Its a nice sounding/looking phone but until the next big Samsung galaxy gets here hard to say how itll hold up. Never had a sony android so no idea what advanatages they offer over others.
I would get one just to take it with me on a night out, get someone to spill some sticky coke or beer on it, then amaze everyone by running it under a tap to wash it off lol. But no, seriously nice looking phone, great spec but I will wait to see what Samsung do. if they go big.LITTLE I'll want that to be honest. Also I think that the battery in the xperia z is a bit on the shy side, something like a 3000 mAh would be much better on a 5" screen with 1080p and quad core cpu.
Just watched the videos. and i loved the design. but yet another huge phone? 5.0 inches TFT damn man..huge yet again why man..just why..it is light weight but fcking huge
I used to use Sony phones after Nokia started to repeat phones with same OS over and over again + no interesting software updates to it. I, among other people, bought Sony for its camera and the Walkman tag on most of them for better sound (Not sure if it was true but music did sound good, at least to me). Lately, they have been slacking in design department for their phones. This phone is an exception in their horrible designs, it actually looks great and has bomb features to offer. I am sold for it being water resistant. It will be like a life saver for me because I am around water a lot. No more doing stupid crap to avoid getting the phone wet.
Looks awesome, if the Nexus isn't in stock soon I'll wait for this. I really wanted the the ZL, but no UK release My one gripe with the Z is how big it is, MASSIVE
most of my pockets would take a 7" tab lol. Thinking about it, my s2 is already a bit tight in my jeans and that's only 4.3". but it's in an otter box commuter case which makes it a bit more bulky. I'm sure I'll be fine. My guess is around 5" is as big as I would ever go on a phone.
Yeh I just wish the phone was smaller, I don't know if I can cope with such a big phone. I suppose it is not that much bigger than the Nexus 4 I wanted
Carelesly i thought it is same as note. But it is smaller than note but bigger than s3 as u say? I must see this phone myself.
