AWSOME Cant wait for this one hope the bugs are kept to a min. :biggun:

The Game is out in 2012, I really hope City Interactive add DX11

I played the Sniper: Ghost Warrior 1 demo, dispite the bugs it was pretty good. I just had way to many games on my plate to buy it.

The first game was trash. The second even with Cryengine 3 will probably be the same.

You cant polish a turd. :wanker:

LOL, that bad? The demo was good besides the AI and a few bugs... If they sort that out could be good.

After they put out some big patch it was quite playable.
Of course it is no big budget blockbuster game but it wasn't such a bad game either. A shooter with some flaws that hopefully won't happen again

This game was absolute trash when it was released. After the patch it was playable but still not good

I really enjoy sniping in games, and i always carry one with me whenever its possible.
But that Sniper game never really got me... it might be a nice game, but i never got warm with it...

Cryengine 3 is a good thing, but its no miracle-machine.

    On subject...
I really enjoyed the first game. Far from perfect but it was pretty good.
    Especially after the patch.
The game was very difficult, and there was some invisible walls and trial and error gameplay.
Other than that I thought it was pretty solid.

great! liked the first one, could've been better especially the Ai but otherwise i think CryEngine 3 should improve on the formula at least in terms of graphics and hopefully the gameplay too.

played in short bursts the original was a decent timewaster.

been hoping developers embrace the CE3 engine, think it will be a good test too.

actually you can.. with the right tools :D

I only tried the demo, but my God it felt like a 10+ year old game. Really dated. And consolish. I doubt the new engine is gonna help, if they keep their gameplay intact. A sniper game btw should be wide open. Ya don`t lead snipers down corridors.

I didn't like the AI or the gameplay of the first game demo. The graphics were fine really.
Looking at that screenie...looks like this is going to be a bloom fest.

What's with all the excessive lensflare/shiny bloom going on in games lately, it's like you're Riddick without the goggles :D

So they're releasing another Sniper game coinciding with a Battlefield release?

    Weird. ;)

Also one thing that bothers me about sniping in 99% of games, is that the scope is either just a 2D sprite covering the whole screen, or the whole screen gets zoomed in along with the optics.
Only the optics should be zoomed in, like this:
