This is not GTA 5 with sniper rifles if you know what I mean. There are multiple ways to approach your targets, but I would not call it open world ala Saints Row etc.

I got my Hunt the Grey Wolf DLC code from Rebellion this afternnon from when I had my £15 copy of the game removed last week. It's doesn't quite makeup for having to pay an extra £12 for a boxed copy of the game but it's a step in the right direction, all the same. :)

Its not really Rebellion's fault though. You don't get to keep the stolen product lol. I blame the key resellers for buying stolen goods.

there's no point rehashing the argument, speculating that the resellers is at fault is unfair, as you nor I know where they got the keys from, heck even Amazon had some reported revocations. If the resellers are just using their normal suppliers how are they to know? it could have been their resellers, and their resellers.

I came across my first almost game-breaking bug toward the end of mission 5 of the campaign. I was asked to climb into a tower to look for an officer with intel but on getting to the top, I shot the guy instead of marking him. I restarted at my last checkpoint, which was at the foot of the ladder leading to the tower and a brief cutscene but the option to climb the ladder was gone. I couldn't even climb down the other ladder to the ground either. Even when I quit the game and resumed my save the same glitch occurred!

Fortunately, I discover that if I threw a grenade that the Press A to Climb prompt came back. This was with tonight's patch as well. This game certainly is buggy to say the least.

Peculiar one, I've not experienced any bugs yet, and delayed the patch until after I'd finished a mission last night.

Don't know about you guys but I've a problem that's sound related:

Mine's Bose Companion 5 but it only produce sound from the front, so that can be a problem when my back is facing the generator or other thing to play the sound-masked shots.

Is there a fix anywhere for this?

Hmm, no idea, fiddle with the output settings for your companion? I only have an old Audigy 2 but I get full sound on my 5.1 setup.

Wow, a 638 MB patch just for those changes. The fixed dialogue audio positioning (likely why the patch is so large) and ragdoll fixes are the most useful for me.

Also, Digital Foundry's Face-Off reported that the shadows on the PS4 and Xbox One version are actually BETTER than on the PC at its highest setting! They seem to think it is a bug though: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-sniper-elite-3-face-off (A very interesting article if you're like me and like reading about the technical aspects of games)

From what I can tell of the comparison images the PC shadows look smoothened or softened and not necessarily lower res but I could be wrong. :)
(Like say direct compute accelerated contact hardening shadows or what the effect was called.)

It really is a nice comparison article by the way.
