Whats the point of 960 if 950 is 5-10% slower? Even the pricing is close...

It's called saturating the market with new products, part of the reason nvidia has about 80% of the market share.

They are saturating wrong segment. I would rather see them filling the gap between 960 and 970.

There´s such a appealing market between the 960 and 970, they could score gold there with a 960 ti or something. This 950/960 ratio is nonsense.

Give me a SFF 950 with no extra power input then I will be impressed. Slapping the title "Extreme" and a big cooler on a chip that could be passively cooled is not impresive.

  11. This thing is nonsense... indeed... blasphemy for the PC master race actually :D.

Well awaiting Intel to mop these cards off...

I have a strong feeling in month and half to three months from now they'll gonna release something between 960 and 970, will it be called GTX960Ti or GTX965 time will tell. Guess it's gonna be on 256bit bus with 3GB or 4GB of VRAM and GPU specs similar to GTX960. That will be a sweet spot for those gaming in 1080p/1440p. Guess NVidia is just harvesting money from 950/960 and when 1080p gaming market saturates with these they'll gona bump it with 960Ti/965 or whatever they'll gonna call it. Hope it'll happen...

The only thing I find particularly appealing about this GPU is it's overclockability. Those OC results make it fairly competitive for the price.

    Hello

Can you like test videocards with some free games, like Dota2 Reborn(Source 2 engine) Wondering how much fps can high end videocards produce in new engines, which can support OpenGL,Dx11-10-9.
Im pretty sure that Battlefield frenchaise aint the most played videogames atm anymore :)

This card sucks so bad...and it's Top Pick ;DD I mean top value maybe (haven't checked the price), but Top Pick????? No Gamer will buy this POS, i guess the only way they will sell it in OEM PCs or as a Prize.

Believe it or not the 950 in general will sell. Probably better than the 980Ti. It's at that $149 MSRP bracket that gets used by many people that don't spend their time on these message boards.
