my x264 score is 20.5% higher
your cinebench 10 score is 5.4% faster

Might i add, your cinebench 10 single core performance is very high compared to others i found at 4.8 ghz, nice!

woops!! I meant yours! haha , but even then the i5 670 its surprisingly low performance per core for that high clock wow.

true, but even then. I guess at higher clocks than 5 ghz scaling to performance decreases significantly for westmere.

Bad news everyone, my ASUS Crosshair V is officially DEAD. I will be purchasing :

    GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7 AM3+

    With:

    Geil Evo Two DDR3 - 2400 Mhz (2x4Gb)
    (10-11-11-30)

    --or --

    Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 - 2133 Mhz (2x4Gb)
    (9-11-10-27)

I am learning for simply the better ram, their prices are near identical.

By I am leaning more towards the Geil (I have had really bad history with Corsair except for their PSU's, that is three individual cases of faulty ssd / ddr3 ram)

Help me choose which ram I should get! I would love to get your guys' opinion on this! ^^

Also, I will be redoing my benchmarks with Windows 8 Consumer Preview!

Stay tuned for this Upgrade. and Results! Thanks for all the support and everybody's patience! ^^

well find me a good PC3-19200 gskill ram 2 x 4 gb kit and ill get that. Too bad its only a 4 x 4 gb kit .

So far i only see Geil offering a solid price for this high speed ram. (If anyone wants to go halfs on the gskill pair let me know ;)

not to mention its 629 + shipping CAD... so nvm scratch that :) Geil is half the price.

But if Gskill offered a pc3-19200 ddr3 2 x 4 gb kit at cl10, it would be prices similarily.
