heh, crazy. I remember buying 8 Mb (megs not gigs) of RAM for $350 and bragging about how great of a deal it was (less than $50/meg).

I remember when something like 8 years ago I bought my good old Geforce4 Ti 4200 128Mb.

A couple of months later went in the 3DRealms forum and asked if the Geforce4 was going to be enough to run properly Duken Nukem Forever... Goerge Broussard himselft answerd that the Geforce4 Ti GPU was such a powerful card and Duke4 would have probably run smooth enough on that...

    LOL

Lucky you... the first hard drive I owned had 100mb... and it seemed pretty big at the time!
I believe the comp was equipped with a 386 40mhz... lol a 40mhz cpu... now it feels crazy even to think those things existed!

I remember when processors didnt need fans. just had a small heatsink. Consoles didnt even have heatsinks. If i recall correctly, the Snes had a 3mhz processor. Neo Geo had 12mhz.
and graphics cards didnt require power directly from PSU and there was Glide API...so many memories.
