I had issues with Fifa 23 where it felt like v-sync was OFF, even though it was on. Reverted back and game works fine now.



However, Windows Update keeps trying to install it. So, I disabled driver updates via group policy, but the update is stuck in Windows Update section after restarting and removing these files in safe mode:

In the past cleaning Software Distribution folder and catroot2 restarted the Windows Update process if there was something stuck there.

Now it seems stuck despite that.

Any idea how I can get this to buzz off without letting it install then DDU, then installing the old drivers back and doing my settings again.

Solved. Just click Retry All after lol

odd driver date in geforce experience.

 

This driver seems to be pretty solid for me, so far:
- no crashes with FreeStyle filter enabled... yet
- no crashes with nvlddmkm errors... yet

Is this older than the new nvidia driver?

 

It's from completely different branch. By compilation date it's few days older, but components are newer
