Buty Windows 10 Cloud has actually very little to do with the cloud, think of it as a simplified Windows RT. Earlier on it was rumored already that Microsoft is planning to launch another version of ...

Why offer a full blown operating system if one does not have to? If all the majority of people need is a "stripped down" version then just offer that. Offer the additional functionality as an add-on if needed. This is the beginnings of modularizing Windows. If functionality is not compartmentalized then how will a subscription based model based on use function? The whole GUI is based on their uniform experience across all platform mantra. This is just the beginnings of bringing their subscription concept to market. Baby steps first; makes acceptance more palatable in the long run.

So, it's basically an even more inconvenient version of Windows RT, and a crippled version of "Windows 8.1 With Bing".

No, it's handy for organizations who switch to ChromeOS, like a lot of schools. And because it will run on both ARM and x86, and it will run all the Windows 10 store apps, it will never be left behind.

Why someone would buy os who can run only with net, only with store apps, and only for gathering data from user? That everything have google os, for free...

Because UWP and Windows Runtime run "in a magic fairy aether powered by the fevered dreams" of winapi haters (and those heaters never wrote a single line of code in their life).
Ding-gond, Windows Runtime is just an ABI over Win32 and COM. It is so win32 related that everything is rendered by D3D11 (by default), a win32 3d graphics API and every UWP window has it's HWND.

There is no "free" Google OS. At least Windows don't require an MS account for installing Store apps any more.

Office 360 is already subscription based. Have not rumors been that after Win 10 the OS will be subscription based as well? Nvidia already teased us with gaming on the basis that all the rendering is done on their servers and we are basically just streaming the game. Eventually all the software will be housed on servers that we will pay to have access to; just the very early pinging to achieve this.

I'm guessing this is the one that will run on ARM and emulate x86? Raspberry Pi 3 compatible

    I have a Pi3, I'd give it a shot for free

There are many things wrong with this.
Windows 10, Cloud and no Win32 support.
I dont expect the problems to end there.

If you want backwards compatibility, we already offer an OS for that.

This is for very specific use case. I don't see anything wrong in it since that would beat the purpose of this. After all, there's full Windows 10...

Exactly. That could be one possible use case.

I'm curious it they will offer it as an upgrade for the Surface RT. Also, it's not exactly a special version, Windows has been running the same kernel on ARM/x86 since Windows 10 released. This edition will most likely run on both with no issues.

Who in their right mind would want to only run Windows Store apps? Stupid people?
