Guru3D and Palit GTX 650 Boost Giveaway

I do have a load of games. Unfortunately, as my backlog gets shorter in time, every game has bigger system requirements so, to play comfortably, I have to decrease details. So that's why a new gfx card would be great

I would use this card for a new HTPC build that is currently in the works:banana:.

 

I want to get it as a gift for my best bud. My 7870 doesn't need an upgrade but his 4870 is ooold.

 

I completed all the tasks. Would love to win this card for a future build.

 

Winning a comp is the best thing, and there's only one thing that beats it, when the prize is your hobby.

I'm using a 460gtx atm with only 768mb of vram.
My 470 died and the warranty has expired, to make matters worse i'm on sickness leave from work so i'm broke also

Sweet contest. I hope to win if only to stretch the life of my C2Q with it's severely underpowered 5770.

I have fond memories of the last time I did this with a Northwood P4 and a Palit 6800GS after my 9800pro died. Only Palit had that card at the time otherwise I would've been SOL, so while it was quite laggy, that Palit 6800GS allowed me to play one of my all time favourite games; Oblivion. Fond memories.

 

I can save some money to upgrade my PC if I win this...

Great contest, nice of Guru3D to do this. I posted my comments on the facebook post on the contest after i "liked" the post. Crosses fingers and hope to win..would be a great asset to a rig im building for a friend of mine as a gift that just got back home from over seas from Afghanistan which had a double amputee of both of his legs, building him a rig to keep him busy,etc..he does have a laptop but its not much of a gaming laptop so i figured i'd build him a home theater setup for the living room where you can relax back on the couch and use a wireless keyboard and mouse. More on that in the comment i left at facebook from Moses Lawrence, which is my real name

He didn't say that or meant that at all. He just said the school GPU died and they are just looking for an/every opportunity to win one.
