Yes, these might be fake and price could be massively increased. But based on the specs leaked which most of us do think are as close as possible to reality this chart could be true. I mean the "faker" did his homework well he even "increased" the clocks in order to surpass the 7970. I mean based on the specs at 950MHz core GK104 should be around the 7970 in games up to 1200p resolution.
Yeah that's why i think this GK104 ain't anything special, even for a mid-end card yea it "competes" with 7950-7970 but that's to be expected.. If you own GF110 then its a stupid upgrade, well unless you got money to burn.. GK110 is what im really looking forward to, that's that real Fermi GF110 replacement not this GK104 midget with weak memory bandwidth ("1425mhz" is what ~ 176gb/s)
This image posted on BSN, have been created by them, its not an Nvidia one.. read the article again.. why do you think they have call it Mockup68.jpg?
Nice to see them both releasing cards not long after each other tbh, as its been pretty crap for a good couple of years or so now.
But where are the games? This year we'll have some very good cards and there's not one game in sight that will need this power. It's sad actually.
I'm on GF110 and will get this if its $299, should be something like 70% more performance, can't grumble at that. GK110 will be a massive waste of money, no way would i go near it, no game out this year will even tax a GF104 card at 19x10 if those results are true, so why would i pay twice as much for the exact same performance.
Because it is? Not Nvidia one... no sh1t? It's fit for demonstration and... teaching purposes Here... same thing.
Well maybe because you could be crippled by that 256bit bus and you won't be able to use much AA + forced AO.. i just checked my 570gtx still sells for 340€, guess it could sell it for a good price later and maybe jump on GK110 wagon.. But that's probably another 6-8months away, if not even more. :infinity:
The games havn't all been ported yet Tis funny, we getting all these cards with Dx11, this that and the other, yet we can't do more than Dx9, as thats all the consoles are on
S†v0r you would have to sell quick though, if the GK104 cards do appear in the next month or so, and are cheap, you will struggle to get much for the 570. I'm impatient, can't wait 6-8 months for a new GPU, and all i need is something cheap, and moderately faster that will do me until 2013 when there will be more use of the next gen engines, and less DX9 only PC exclusives, and DX11 patched in console ports.
There is one,Metro Last light, very very demanding, probably twice as demanding as Metro 2033...still not enough though tbh.
Metro Last Light was delayed. Early 2013. So, with Kepler or no, we have no games which need so much power:wanker:
Exactly, which is why a nice cheap GK104 card will be more than enough for the rest of the year. Sniper Ghost Warrior2 might be quite demanding though, too early to tell.
Sniper GW2 on CE2? Interesting it will be with DX11, or as usual - wait for DX11 patch and hires textures. Oh wait, I know, Next 3DMark or another thech-Demo from Nvidia with PhysX.
You don't know, we might be surprised this year, the PC will be the testing ground for the 720 this year. Checking ahead there is things like Microsoft Flight in a few weeks, and Arma3 in a few months that will no doubt cripple even the best CPU and GPU's.
All the DX11 console games will be getting started this year, if not already started so i wouldn't be surprised if most ports end up having some DX11 features.
all i know is i want a new gpu in the next 3 weeks and dont want to pay amd inflated prices , so come on nvidia release something good quick or at least give us legit info after making a " not impressed with amd cards performance " patients is not a virtue of mine and money burns holes in my pockets
There was no official words about new crap in this year. And consoles uses low-level API's. To havea litle more performance. So, when was DX10, we also was beta-testers for consoles, right? Then tell us, which consoles has DX10 features:wanker:
MS flight ? this thing have nothing to do with a simulator, i dont know if you have seen the video and infos about it... but forget to see it as a benchmark for new hardware ..
