Thanks for the link Milamber, some interesting stuff, story mode holds little interest for me, especially with how bad it was in Fight Night Champion, I only play career mode so really hope it has received some effort this year.
First gameplay video I've come across that's worth watching, shows a decent look at the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQXW2iCdkr8 Looks really good IMO, pace is decent (probably on default normal?) passing and movement looks good, funny to see the managers on the sidelines reacting to stuff, some nice low shots, not happy they changed the penalty system as I thought the last system worked very well but I'm sure it'll be ok once figure out. Setpieces are such a huge part of the game it definitely makes sense they revamp the whole system which was pretty stale, obviously won't know if it really works until get some hands on time with it! Visuals were nice but not as impressive as I'd imagine the Frostbite engine can be, maybe toned down for a console version? Hopefully the PC version will have a lot of graphical options to tweak.
Beside the fact that the guy is commenting without playing, he's only watching like us. It looks good. More similar to the last fifa i liked (13) than fifa 16.
Yep the options you can change in the game settings before launching the game are pathetic, can't remember when I saw so few options to tweak the visuals of a game, and even then when it was at the maximum it still looked pretty crap.
F*ck! The one decent gameplay video and EA took it down They're so frustrating at times, they release their crappy PR videos that only show stuff unrelated to gameplay, in their interviews they only ever stick to the script to talk about their shiny new feature and don't talk about the modes people actually play and care about (in my case career mode). I guess it's fortunate I thought to download that video when I watched it really... http://www85.zippyshare.com/v/bCEkbaK0/file.html https://mega.nz/#!9tJUXYIY!k-UOdn_khTH3K-B5wvFiw_nMTtiEhGg-hw6mTVFCWTg
Me neither, it seems like more of a gimmick really. Plus, who has honestly ever enjoyed playing as a single player? The AI is so frustrating to play with! I'm not getting my hopes up for drastic changes to career mode, sadly, especially with all the effort they must have put into this story mode.
Here's the youtube link of that video for those who CBA to download the file https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fjDe57DMOI
I'm not much of a football fan, but, story mode kinda interests me? Don't know much about these games tbh.
Having watched that E3 2016 multiplayer video, it is hard to tell the difference between the previous version running on the IGNITE engine and this new game which is using Frostbite. They look pretty much identical, albeit from a normal zoomed out gameplay camera any football game is going to look like any other. What advantages does Frostbite bring over IGNITE exactly?
