Sooo... what, are we suppose to wait until the gtx880 comes out before these two titles run at 60fps. What a joke.

The control system of this game is for console crowd.

I am getting hooosoo tired pressing Esc again and again.

Um. No. SLI works perfectly fine in this game. I don't understand these tech support replies. How can anyone think that SLI DOESN'T work? If I didn't have a 2nd 680, forcing 4x SGSSAA would be impossible in this game. Both of my GPUs run at full load and I get ~ 60 FPS @ 1440p w/ 4xSGSSAA.

The biggest issue that I haven't been able to solve is the stuttering that occurs when you dip below 60 FPS. Though since that happens for single cards and SLI\crossfire, it's clearly a different issue.

I've heard that this update includes the HUD customizations. Yay... though I've played it to death already :( Too bad that wasn't available when a majority of the folks were still playing. Might come in handy if I ever decide to replay it though.

Assassin's Creed 3 worked with SLI, they're talking non-sense. Something's wrong with their CPU utilization.

Few changes unfortunately, it's big because it contains all previous patches. They didn't fix grass flickering and that DX 11 multithreading thing, for example, and the giant map is always there...

Nothing to do with it, different engines.

Joke's on you. First thing I did after I configured my hotkeys was test the function keys. Lo and behold, F1-F5 provide quick access to the crafting, inventory and other important screens. F9 saves the game, and F11 loads it.

Me too, video driver crash at the end of the loading process. I deleted the gamerprofile and it worked fine then, but I don't know if the xml file was the culprit. :D

I modded the menu and added the hot keys to be able to be mapped.
I use Arrow keys for movement and F1 is to far away to get to crafting menu :p
    [IMG]
Other things I added to key mapping for my own game was:
2nd run key that only sprints when held down, stops sprinting when released.
Separate Hold Breath key for sniping.
2nd crouch key that only crouches while being held down.
Enter key works as interact and Press not Hold to interact.

I'm just checking out patch v1.04 before I add all my own extra keys to the mapping menu again.

That doesn't seem to match up with the changes listed on their website.

EDIT: Readme file for 1.04 has something about customizable control changes as well.
EDIT: The gameplay options menu now allows you to toggle all of the indicators the game uses on and off. :)

It broke my mod for Better Sights and Weapon Modifications - other than that it was ok... just need an update for the mod so I can stand the red dot sight again. :/

One of the users in the ubi thread said they reapplied this mod (better sights) after the 1.04 update, and it seems to be working now as it did. I'm starting at 1.03 till most mod update so I haven't been able to test yet myself. But figure I'd mention it.

Yeah SLI works in both FC3 and AC3 but in both games the GPU usage plummets. FC3 it's when you get in a gunfight, AC3 in Boston. So more like half-assed SLI.

4 patches and the game still runs like crap without config tweaks of which i dont have the time for, not even Skyrim was this buggy. Next Ubi title i'll be "borrowing" before i buy.

Thats what i've been doing, havent played since the first patch as i've just been loading it up when ever a new patch gets released -> see's performance still crap - Exit and wait for next patch , rinse and repeat.

So yeah less than about 2 hours of actual game time to my name with this far cry.
Edit: 4 patches, i think i've been patient enough.
