my pops has simalar rig as mine with a 6600gt and he beat COD:UO and he didnt whine at all about it

as for latency goes whats it read right now too high is bad and too low is bad, its like adjusting ur rate for online games, too high will lagg u out and to low will lagg u out iff everything reads 32 and vcard is real high lower it, if all are 32 or 64 and vcard is the same up the vcard a lil bit just tinker around with it and remember ur defaults

have u tryed defragging and what is ur pageing file size? do u see ur HD working when u see a drop in cod???
if ur getting heavy HD useage during the drop let me know i might have a fix for u if not never mind this post

 

initial size is C: 1536 D:1536------i have it partitioned, and maximum size is 3076 for both of em.

well for starters u should have it set so min and max is same size (set to custom not windows managed) case if min and max are different windows will resize it when it fells like it and then ur had has to read/write a diff PF and that moves it and gets it all out of wack ii would set min and max to 1536 or 1024, i use 768 with 1.5Gb ram and used 1024 when i had 1gig
if min and max are equal the PF never changes size and will stay in one place so it will perform better also since u have 1gig of ram go into msconfig/system.ini and add "ConservativeSwapFileUsage=1" (no quotes) in [386enh]
this will make ur system use ur ram 1st and when u get low it will use the PF

and try this part also since u have 1gig of ram go into msconfig/system.ini and add "ConservativeSwapFileUsage=1" (no quotes) in [386enh]
this will make ur system use ur ram 1st and when u get low it will use the PF restart pc and try COD if u got issues I dunno what to say

thats weird try 1024x768 thats what my pop ran his @ but the 16x is whats killing u
just try it on trilinear then and 4x aa

 

ok but i think i loose fps on cassino at 1024 768

 

also in nvidia set to application controlled and adjust aa/af ingame if ur not doing that it can conflict some times
