I voted on ATI just to see him loose that GTS and get a real card instead.
Couldn't care less if it is pink or yellow.

I was about to, but I guess I was too late, since this poll is already a couple of days old. I must have missed it since I don't check the nvidia section much at all, In fact, I only checked it because I'm so abysmally bored out of my mind that I had nothing else to do (oh, what a surprise! I think that proves the point about how useless this poll is, being posted in the Nvidia section and all)

Oh, and I voted ATI not because I prefer the name, but because I want that card to be given away ;)

PhysX was done using x87 instructions....which was moved to legacy support several years ago. If it had been done using x86 or SSE....it would actually perform rather well on CPU.

I initially found it pointless...til page 2, then it got a little bit funny.

Why are you going to send your card to Nvidia or ATI? What would they do with it lol?

I doubt he's going to send it to ATI or nVidia....not sure exactly who he plans on sending it to, but I doubt it's either of them.

I've used cards from both extensively.

In single GPU configurations, I couldn't care less. I've been satisfied with both. With MGPU I've had better luck with nVidia.

ATi have often been slow to get Crossfire profiles out and in addition they sometimes break support in later drivers. It's annoying as hell when a game is functioning well then they break it in a later driver release.

Heck they recently had to put out a hotfix driver to get the HD 4870 X2 using both GPUs again. That's just sad.

    ATI Catalyst 10.9a Hotfix Feature:

    * ATI Radeon™ HD 4870 X2 and ATI Radeon HD 4850 X2 series of products use both Graphics Processing Units (GPU) for high performance

    http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/ATICatalyst109Hotfix.aspx

I like to use the latest drivers because they often have bug fixes, in addition to new or improved MGPU profiles for games.
