Bethesda Shows Gameplay Video and Screenshots for RAGE 2

As a fan of both the original game (still have the retail box) and Bethesda's single player shooters streak, I can say without doubt that I'm very much looking forward to this!

 

So I am not really sure how much demand their actually was for a sequel to this game but am I the only thing thinking that Bethesda are using the fact that Gearbox are dragging their heals on an official BL3 launch or in fct ANY info on BL3 to nip in there and release their own mad as monkeys desert / post apocalyptic waste land, tribe based open world FPS and suck up the sweet sweet money that is waiting around for BL3?

Let me put it this way I loved BL1 and BL2, BL2 is still in my top three most ever played games on Steam. I also bought Rage at launch and never completed it so if their attempt is to draw the BL fans kicking around waiting for BL3, yeah it's not working sorry.
