Battlefield 3 vs crysis 2 which is graphically better?

Crysis 2 looks better without a doubt. But BF3 is much better optimised.

 

Bf3 easily.

Better engine, runs better, looks and moves better all round. Crysis 2 is too much of an after thought for PC, not optimized for it, no contest here. Not sure why this is even a thread, imo the winner is obvious.

 

BF3 is a great game but you can finish it without firing a shot.

Crysis 2 for me has better graphics and gameplay and overall just a better feel to the game while playing.

They both run great but I feel Crysis 2 runs more smooth then BF3,and I never seen one stutter in Crysis 2,but have seen many in BF3 even running 120FPS+.
Hands down Crysis 2 for me.Modded Crysis 2 is even better

To answer the OP's question though, it's definitely Crysis 2. Crysis 2 has significantly greater DX11 usage than BF3, and is the first game to use SSDO, a new and more accurate form of ambient occlusion.

great screenshots carfax, showing the beauty of it, looks so damn good, u know i just like to play around in crysis 2 just for enjoying the looks, i dont give a d**n about gameplay lol, how times change, fps for graphics and not gameplay

 

Crysis 1.

 

Out of the box i think BF3 is better, but Crysis 2 has far greater potential for greater graphics through CryEngine 3.
All those cool super realistic scenes and mods done for Crysis 1 can be done in Crysis 2 even better.

 

Please you disable motion blur, bloom and DoF for better graphics. loooool
I got 60 fps at 720p without any problems in C2 and also in BF3 for fantastic except only motion blur disabled in both games. loool

I have serious doubts that CE3 is better then CE2.

 

For me Crysis 2 DX11 with Maldo textures is graphically better imo.

 

After playing some Battlefield 3, I still feel Serious Sam 3 wins overall, but Battlefield 3 def. beats out Crysis 2. Crysis 2 has more of a cartoony look. Nice tesselation and parallax mapping, but the game doesn't look nearly as photo-realstic as BF3 so for me

SS3 > BF3 > C2 > Arkham City

 

Colors/contrast wise I still feel Crysis 1 looked better..Maybe it was the jungle setting that made it better but I really liked the "atmosphere/feel " better

 

man what r u talking about, in serious sam 3, trees look very out dated only the lighting is good, the crumbled building , that;s all.

well it's a tie for me. for more realistic game, i choose BF3 + Vegetation from CE3, but for more into science fiction game, i choose CE3.

 

FALSE! but YES - Batman AC > C2 > BF3 > SS3 loolool because SS3 has lack of DX11 with tessellation option.

 

CE2 vegetation wipes the floor with any other engine around.

 

it's not a question of every aspect, overall CE3 is better, more optimized,so runs better, differed rendering etc...
