The atioglxx control OpenGL functionality. Try replacing atioglxx.dll in the DNA Legacy 10.2 Driver by using the atioglxx.dll from one of the previous installed driver that worked correctly with your Graphic Card.

Ahh, ok. Did you manage to get fan control working from one of the previous installed driver that had a working fan Control?

    Other Thoughts
I haven't seen that bug on my HD 4000 Series or HD 5000 Series. And replicating it also does not seems to be working. But even so I will attempt solve the issue in the next Update.

Hmm I see. So the previous HotFix 10 P6 V10.2 Stable BETA, currently allows you to access the Fan Control?

The Latest 10.7 Driver attempts to fix the Brightness Control Bug, while making many other changes to the driver. The Dx9 Switchers are now performance Switchers so they will not allow you to switch between Dxva as driver should use it when first installed.
Also I included the xFlash xPatcher Switcher to enable hardware acceleration when playing videos in Firefox for accelerating Windowed Flash Videos. (Videos not played in Fullscreen.) This also allows users to play videos without experiencing UltraHD Video Green Screen Bug when playing Flash Videos with Firefox.

The Download Link to the Latest Driver can be found by following

Ok, Try the Brightness Control patch from the link below.
    Brightness Control Patch

    Install Guide
    Download and Extract
Replace the Package folder of v10.7
then run both cleaners in the Dx9 Switcher folder of the 10.7 Package
and proceed to re-installing the driver.

Overclocking in RivaTuner doesn't work with these drivers, I've tried V10.7 and V10.2.

    Tried with ATI Catalyst 12.11 B11 HotFix 10 P6 V10 Legacy Driver x64Bit
    Brightness control works

I can't install ATI Catalyst 12.11 B11 HotFix 10 P6 V10.7 All Supported OS because system say "Can't find specified path"
As I remember when I installed it first time there was a BSOD and then it doesn't install.

And by the way when I used aSimple Driver Cleaner while system default AMD driver in Windows 8.1 was installed and cleaner deleted that driver.

Installed v10.7, brightness still isn't working. I cleaned out my drivers before installing. Will check if this solves the dx error in bf3.

On a sidenote, the 5650 got disabled in device manager after install. Not sure if it was the driver installer or something I did.

edit: nope, still get that dx error

A fix for This "path error" that occur because of system bsod when removing / updating drivers will eventually be implemented in my DDU. Im just having a hard time with registry permission with vb.net as its deep sauce. :eyes:

Hmm, I will update the driver for third party support. So before using the 10.7 and 10.2 Driver you had no problem using river tunner before, correct?

    Ok, thanks.

You can manually remove the package from Windows\inf\oemxx.inf (AMD Display Driver should have version as 13.103 or 13.102) remove that oem.inf then go to driver store and remove the 8150272 folder.

Ok, if the next release does not work out in which Windows 8 Switchable Graphics Users can not make use of the WDDM 1.2 Driver I will revert the driver back to WDDM 1.1 which was stable and did work correctly.

Does this mean you will automate a manual cleanup in which DDU will search for any left behind oem.inf that resembles a Display driver then automatically delete the oem.inf in the folder after getting necessary information that matches the driver stored in Driver store in which DDU will remove after getting that information?

I have no problem with kevsamiga1974's 11.12 Hybridized R13 UV Final, and before that 8.97 18 april/2012 no problems. I only tried out your 10.2 and 10.7 and it didn't work, don't know about your older versions.

It's located in your Drive Letter\Windows\System32\Driver Store\File Repository

Thanks for responding. I have one last question when you used River Tunner with 10.7 driver was the overclock option missing or did not apply?

Almost like you said except its on the registry that I do this as its the registry pointing to non existant oem because of corruption or bsod or hard shutdown during driver remove or installation... many possible cause...

Can you recommend a version to fallback to in the meantime? The latest one is works great otherwise, but it'd be nice if I could finish a round of bf3 :).

    Great work by the way.
