I would like opinions on what everyone thinks would be a better choice for a triple monitor setup.

I should start by saying that these will be used for CAD and a 3D program called Chief Architect. No gaming.

I currently have 3 monitor that are all different sizes. An ultrawide would be nice. But I don't think I would have enough space. I will be running CAD/Chief on 2 monitors and e:mail reference material on the third.

    Pros for the NEC.

    1. Display port out for daisy chaining.

    2. 16:10 ratio.

    3. USB 3 type C

    Pros for the BENQ

    1. CAD/CAM mode

    2. Larger screen.

    3. Higher resolution

Both have almost identical specs and a 3 year warranty. Thanks in advance.

If you need real estate, I love my 28" Samsung UE510. It's inexpensive, 4K, and using Group Viewing eliminates the color distortion known in TN panels. For a work environment, once you go 4K there is no substitute. (I use 125% scaling to max out real estate in applications) You may also be able to eliminate one screen, since you can fit 4 1080p screens in a single 4K screen.
