Always getting B´SODS when I am installing this driver.
    Dunno understand why?
Revert back to AMD 141_betav16 which are working fine with my rig.
However any help, it would be fantastic!!
    Thanks!!

Well, I went back to whql, there are too many lags with those beta version.
Will capture it Tomorrow with a good cam to show the case to AMD.
Capturing with my mobile phone is not showing the issue (reduces to 24 fps I think).

The problem is the frequency switching of the RAM/CORE of the R9 290.
RAM switches between 150 and 1300 MHz !
When I force the Frequency to a fixed value (even low), then the v sync issue is gone.
Looking at the watt meter on the AC plug, the consumption is quite close to the dynamic AMD switching implementation.
I would suggest to AMD to add an option in the overclock tab of the Catalyst
to enable the fixed memory/core frequencies.
Is there any chance they gona add that ?
By also switching the Ultra low power stuff, the pci express bus toggles between
2.0 16x lanes to 1.1 1x lane, which is non sense while playing a game(because of the low load).

Well, the problem is not related with the clocks.
I found out that the problem is somewhere in the post processing, after the 3D rendering.
If you play world of warcraft in windows mode, you will get a lot of stutter.
If now you put on top of the world of warcraft windows another windows, like gpuz or msi afterburner (select the tool to be always in front), then the game is perfect smooth.
The same happens when playing videos using vlc media player,
if you show the statistics windows, there will be stutter when playing a video, that is actually loosing frames (randomly) !
The counter raises in the statistic when it is not smooth.
Would be great if AMD checks what is going on over there !

Well, If I fix the frequency, vlc media player shows 0 frame lost.
So it is related to frequency after all.

i was able to fixed the problem, i guess one of those 3 things could work:

1 - turn off NDU service
Open up "regedit" and go this key.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\N du
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Ndu
Change the "Start" value to 4 (to disable it).

2 - backup your x64 exe to folder, then copy x86 exe to main game directory and name it as x64 (bf4.exe)

3 - go to your game directory and adjust the 32 bit and "64 bit" BF4.exe to startup in windows 7 compatability mode and select run as administrator.

I'm running an XFX HD 7770 and I just updated this driver and MSI Afterburner and it seems to be more stable than the 14.2 beta,I can overclock without it crashing the card and it still runs fairly cool, well no hotter than usual, hottest it ever gets is around 67.(I adjusted the fan setting a lil too)And that's on the highest setting I saved in afterburner with the last driver.I ran heaven benchmark with everything turned up the highest at 1920x1200,it hit 60fps as it's highest, average about 30-40.I'm pretty sure I could go a lil further on the clock speeds now, they are set at 1110 on the core clock and 1365 on the memory. It's defaults are 1100 and 1300.I was trying to get the same clock speeds as the xfx 7770 super oc version that shares the same bios pretty much it's speeds are 1120 and 1300 but it was crashing with the last driver when I bumped the core speed up close to that.Gonna try now though,it's only 10 and it's much more stable now.Any advice or tricks with the HD 7770? It does pretty well on most games on highest settings, but could always be better...

Hello. I'm work on initialization API Mantle and this my test program gfile.ru/a7i4z (i don't know how here make attach). For launch program you needed OS Windows x64 (of course :) ) and VC++Redist 2013 (program was linked in VS2013).

Because it is not so easy (no lib and header files). And this is first init mantle program, that is program which uses mantle library.
mantle64.dll have 125 function, i init 14, including fullscreen function, but second parameter is not correct (i used BOOL type, but there must be struct Image with grCreateImage function with complex second parameter). This "bad" GUI init gfile.ru/a4LrX screen turns black for few second (don't move mouse). I work this problem and soon may decide it. By the way, for init gui not required a window (CreateWindow function), just need call WinMain.
