Possibly, but it's hard to say. I personally think AM4 is close to its limits, but that's fine because it had a hell of a run. I don't plan on changing my main components for at least 2-3 years and by that time I'll move on to AM5.
I dont think there will be more cpus to be released on am4 (but who knows) bios updates will probably slow down. Im surprised amd supported the platform this long but this gives me hope for am5.
I would expect that's what "support" means, because I can't see what kind of new CPUs they could even release for it. Maybe an 5950X3D, dunno, but that sounds like a stretch.
I wouldnt expect regular updates going forward, just security patches mainly. and while am4 is still selling, id be very surprised if amd kept it going another year.
