    Is this like a common thing? I've pre-ordered like three cards in my life and all had the same price as they were at launch, including the 690 I have now.

    Not that i know of, as ive never seen a card go up for no price, just got to pay a deposit, then pay the final amount when the price is finally revealed. :)

    I think it will retail in the UK for around £600-£650.

    That's what i was thinking.

    Newegg have not been know for inflating pre-order prices in the past so it seems unlikely they would start now.

    I'm guessing it will be £550-600 here in the UK depending on the model, but that is based on the Newegg price + tax.

    Well, I can say that for Denmark, the price calculation is usualy the price in $ x 10. So 730$ would be 7300kr, or about 1300$. Remember we have a lot of taxes in scandinavia... flat 25% VAT on everything in Denmark tends to make things better.
