FIFA 15 PC (Ignite Engine) Confirmed

Can't get past the ea sports video. It drops to 0 fps and then gets stuck. Anyone esle getting this ?

If anyone gets 0 fps at ea sports video, it's from rtss. I like the game, a little bit hard to controll when defending. Maybe the final version will fix this.

 

Same problem. Close EVGA Precision or MSI AfterBurner.


I like too this demo - amazing!! But... I detected motion blur because the game settings hasn't option of this effect.

 

How does the game run?

 

Sounds like the PC is getting neglected again - it's really getting beyond a joke at this point.

At least they were kind enough to remove the other EA sports franchises from PC instead of insulting paying customers.

 

The demo requires Origin.
1. Run Origin
2. Free games -> demos and betas
3. Select FIFA 15 demo and download it
4. Play game.

 

He means performance wise, not how to run it..

 

Maxed out settings at 1440p uses about 40% gpu power on a single of my 780 ti's, with roughly 1gb vram used, and constant 60 fps.

However, the jaggies even with 4 msaa are horrible - i hope i can get sgssaa working in it, like in previous fifa versions.

 

Yeah performance is spot on even my old hardware, if anything alot smoother than Fifa13 which was the last game i played, i'm sure that had some random performance issues, especially on replays.

I agree about the aliasing though, don't know how 4xMSAA compares to 2 or off, but the player models are still quick aliased, less noticeable in gameplay though.
Likely the usual story with the move from DX9-DX11, so hopefully i can get SMAA working.

I actually really enjoyed the demo, maybe because i skipped a year.
The demo also has a decent length for each half, remember it being really short before with the demo, or was that PES?

 

Yeah, dx11 facks up msaa :/

With a bit of luck, we can get either SGSSAA or OGSSAA working in fifa 15, cause its much needed for those jaggies! The outline on their shirts looks like freaking chainsaws !

 

I don't quite like the player movement animations, i liked fifa 13 ones better. Skipped fifa 14 entirely.

 

Well you can Dorlor until i get the 980 i will have to look see how well SMAA works.

 

Like bf4 got low fps on loading. Played without afterburner and worked fine, although playing with it on better I think

So far like all fifa's not hugely different. Ultimate team does seem to have some new features though..

 

The reason to why it is happening, is due to a conflict between the origin overlay activated inside the games, and the RTTS overlay, used by msi afterburner.

Disable either of those, and the other will Work. Ive disabled origin inside the game, which makes me able to use msi afterburner

 

thks will try that....strange didnt happen with fifa14. havent played bf4 in months so thats why have missed this info..

damm should have waited before re-installing. oh well.

 

I suspect that its due to fifa 15 running dx11, as opposed to previous fifa versions, that uses dx9.

I dont have this issue with other dx9 games either btw, only dx11 games.

 

Anyone else think the visuals on PC version seem inferior compared to XB1? I can't quite explain it but the PC graphics don't look as good as it's next-gen counterpart.

 

Well, as soon as it's out on PS4 i will check PC vs PS4.

 

Its not unlikely at all, that its nerfed in Visuals - they have deliberately made the pc version infirior for several years by now, giving us the old game engines, vs the new ones on the consoles.

BUT, we can make it look MUCH better than the console version ever will.

4k resolution + either super sampling, or Down sampling = imba image quality!
