If you have multiple screen's then Memory will not downclock, that is by design not a bug.

One screen, 1920x1200. On 12.10 it was ok. :/

Damn, BF3's performance and Far Cry 3 is way better for me. Far Cry 3 seems smoother for me for some odd reason. keeping these drivers.

    Hallo Guru3d community :)

the problem with the new driver is, that you can't create a resolution with the DownSamplingGui which is bigger than you native resolution.

May the made a restriction in the Display Library (ADL),
for example the atiadlxx.dll has a different size as the dll from the 12.11 driver.

    What ever,

if you want to downsampling with the new driver there is only one way at the moment.

    uninstall the 13.1 driver
    install the 12.11 driver
create all the resolution what you need
than install the 13.1 driver over the 12.11 driver
    and it works !!! :)

Thought i may as well install these, went in fine, no errors like some have said, and i like how they've taken a leaf out of Nvidias Control Panel, and replaced the sliders with the drop down boxes like they've got.

They want to get rid of that signing up to some AMD Communications guff that opens up in Explorer after it restarts after installing though, or at least make it open with my default browser, FF. :p

Both this and the 13.2 leaked still have the bug where CCC is using 13.1% CPU resources.

    Same as 12.11b11

CCC in 13.1 is using 0% CPU for me, open or closed, nor has it ever in any previous drivers

Getting a green screen when switching displays to my LG tv/receiver.
    Any ideas?
Reboot seems to fix it, or power cycling the receiver...but annoying.

Not for me, it does downclock, but not to 2D speed though. Since I can remember, my GPU clock would downclock to 500Mhz while memory stays at the same speed as I've had OC'ed to. Anyway, I've installed this driver for my HD6990 while I'm trying out the Cat13.2Beta driver for my main rig....so far, no complaints. Oh yeah, the clcokspeed while on desktop or surfing the net is the same as all previous drivers.....500mhz.

Only happens after a game is launched. Alt-tab out of the game and go into task manager and take a look.

I am currently running Server 2012, but am pretty sure it was happening in Windows 7 as well.

Still the 12.8WHQL is the best driver in BF3 with my 7970 Crossfire setup.

I dont get it. What have they changed, to make the performance worse? the 12.9 Beta's are worse, the 12.10 WHQL are worse, the 12.11 are worse and the 13.1 are worse.

On the 12.11 driver, they boosted the single card performance, but whats the deal on the 7970 CFX on BF3?

Its a 10-15fps difference, and the fps is much more stable on the 12.8WHQL. its just much more pleasant to play with the 12.8WHQL.

Is it just my setup, or what?
