    Hello all,

I recently came into possession of a new GPU Zotac RTX 2070 AMP Extreme Core and I noticed that when the GPU is in load, two of the three fans do not keep their speed constant as they reach a low speed afterwards return to the speed corresponding to the percent setting.

From what I noticed, the board has two 4 pin plugs for fans, and two of the three fans are connected to a single jack.

This behavior manifests with the default setting of the fans and with them set manually to a certain percentage.

For example, in the attached pictures I set the fans to 60% or 70% and I run a stress test (TimeSpy) and can you can see the following:

    - Manual setting of 60%, the speed of the two fans at one socket dropped from ~ 2160rpm to 1750rpm after which it returned to normal

    - Manual setting of 70%, the speed of the two fans at a plug dropped from ~ 2445rpm to 1992rpm after which it went up to 5118 (possible reading error) and returned to normal

This problem is not just a reading error from MSI Afterburner, I can hear how the fans change their speed.
In idle mode (desktop, browsing, movies, etc) if I manually set a value of the fan, this behavior does not occur, the fans not dropping their rpm.

What do you think, have you ever met something like that? Should I send it in the warranty or just replace with another one?

TLDR: ONLY when gaming/stressing the card, the fans connected to fan header 1 keeps decreasing and increasing the speed.
