Hi i want to get a graphics card and currently in my budget there's two, the Asus ROG STRIX 2060 OC edition which quality, tech review and costumers review wise its quite well liked (its also discounted). And the second one which stretches my budget a bit is the Zotac nVidia GeForce RTX 2070 mini, which tech reviews wise it seems okay but the few costumers review i saw on the GPU weren't so positive.

I'm investing a lot in getting a GPU now, and i plan to use it for a long time, so both performance and durability (basically longevity in using it past its warranty) are important factors for me , also for years to come i don't plan on playing on more then 2560x1080 60/75Hz. So which would you recommend, the Strix for its better quality components or the Zotac for having 8Gb of ram and a bit more power ?

Could the same be said about MSI GeForce RTX 2070 AERO 8G ? This one is on a nice discount right now, but its a blower card, the thing is that costumer reviews for it where quite positive.

I'd avoid the AERO 8g, the Zotac will run cooler.

Which store are you shopping from?

local stores, the only options for 2070 are:

    Palit Geforce RTX 2070 dual : http://www.palit.com/palit/vgapro.php?id=3076&lang=en

The MSI GeForce RTX 2070 AERO 8G:

Well, my current card is a Palit and the card before was a Palit too (1080 GameRock). The card before that was a Zotac (980ti extreme).

All brilliant cards, had zero issues with them. Especially like Palit cards, these GameRock cards are rock solid. But that's not what you're looking at, at your price point.

Still, either Zotac or Palit would do great.

Or you could consider a second hand card such as a 1080ti if you can find one under warranty.
