Over at a thread inÂ*overclock.net a photo appeared from a user calledÂ*Alatar, a distributor posted some stuff on geForce GTX 970 and 980, and he included a photo of the GeForce GTX 970 from Zotac.... Zotac
dammit!! when are these GPU making companies are going to realize that we no longer have the money to buy their expensive crap??:bang:
To be more specifically a 500 euro+ price for the GTX 970!The latest rumors from a retailer shows the GTX 980 @ a price of 700 -750 $,like the 780Ti.
Damn, that is small. Maybe they'll do a 970, 980 and 990 ? It prety obvious tis will be a lower power card, 150W ? Won't leave much room for OC either...
These are gonna be good! Can't wait to see some reviews and see how they perform, how they overclock, and how cool they run! Maxwell is the next best thing since sliced bread - a proper step up from Kepler!
Thanks, but I already know the leaks that have been seen. I'm just interested in 100% confirmation, as well as reading about the detailed gaming & overclock performance too, temperatures, power consumption etc. (and 970 was just slightly above 780 from what I remember)
I've owned two 770s now - MSI twin frozr & EVGA w/titan cooler. Both look noticeably larger than this Zotac. Maybe the angle is making it look smaller, but the card and heat sink extend at most an inch beyond the PCI-e socket. My MSI 660 TF & TFti were much larger as well. When comparing similar angled shots of any of the other cards I've owned, this looks a LOT smaller. It looks closer to the size of the MSI gtx760 itx in relation to where the PCI-e socket is.
There goes everything i hoped for , guess $400 970 and $500 for 980 was just too good to end up being real.
Well the dream is over on the pricing even me caught up in the love whirlwind think they would sell a card rumored to be faster for less
Well I never believed that. High End for less than 300? Even back then that was just a dream, although a nice one
