    Not like I'm complaining AM4 is EOL but rather 5000 are too expensive.
    I'm exited for AM5 and all the new tech, its just hard to justify an upgrade current prices.

    right - I think the range is 80w to 160w I've seen on avg...

    well
    it's up to 140w
    but even then it's 125w constant +15w dynamic

    yup,the upgrade path is there
    but it's a 7nm 9900k,same price and almost same performance w. lower power draw
    very nice cpu,but i don't think that was the end goal for am4 buyers.
