also another funny thing is why make the fps so hard to see...i sense some people dont like the fact the 5870 is so close...

plus hardly time at the end to look at the results..it's almost like lets get this over and done with...

That's just weird. What did they expect ? Hell I think nVidia should be pretty proud, they're still on top, albeit by very little. Now all I care about is GT300 performance and price cuts on both sides :D

I'm confused, you guys think people are upset that an 11 month old GPU still stands at the top spot? It's more of a marvel at how fast the 295 is, since the 5870 can't topple it.

seing this I already know I will skip this gen of next gpu's. I will wait till the next whatever comes after the gt300. unless games will comeout with super demanding graphics my system cant hold. but think about this.

most of the games are released multiplatform. and this means they are made so xbox and ps3 can run them meaning we wont see any game with mayor graphic and stuff improvement until the next gen of consoles come around. or until a game dev makes one exclusive to pc. but that doesnt seem to be the case anymore with crytek also going multiplatform.

and to what people say about 295 vs 5870 wich is best. its not that simple. IMO if you already own a 295 theres no point in changing to a 5870 performance wise. But some look at other stuff too.
for example. If your into multimonitor you would def take a look at a 5870.
if you are into 3d stuff 3d vision u'll lean towards nvidia. if you want physx wich IMO seems like a good thing and many games use it then u'll lean towards nvidia too.

at this point it all comes down to personal preferences. since there is no big difference in FPS. aldough price favors ATI at this time along with power consumption.

If i had the money I would have 2 high performance systems. one with ATI with 3 monitors and a cokpit where i would have all my driving sims,flying,ect.. and the other with nvidia where i would have all other games with 3d vision and physx ect...

You made my day. since the 295 is so good. won't you be mad too?

true. most of the reviewers on youtube are favour to nvidia anyways

I'm surprise that some even benchmark the 5870s.

sorry but the 5870 is a single gpu the 295 is a dual gpu. when it come down to they are both capable cards and the 295 wins some and the 5870 wins some. but please stop comparing them. the 285 and the 5870 should be compared.
