youtube + google logon confliction

hi all i have a youtube account that seems to be linked to my youtube account and i cant get onto my youtube account now.. i have logged onto my latest google account and then tried linking the youtube account but it says its already linked to another.... please can someone help me with either the following

1) the old google account to access my youtube it linked too...
2) unlink the accounts so i can relink them to my current ones

 

The G of Guru3D doesn't stand for Google. Why don't you contact Google/YouTube support about this?

 

I can't recall the exact steps of what I did to solve it, but I recently experienced the same thing. I have two email addresses (one Gmail, one Yahoo) and somehow Google/Youtube decided to mix them up when they forced me to link the Youtube account to a Gmail account. They screwed up some things in the process.

 

you could try creating a new e-mail adress, and then join youtube?

but there is a chance you permanently linked to google when you first made an account - in this case you can't do anything.
