your any videocard (desktop/laptop) died to ressurect for FIX!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_taI-CkPD3M - watch video about tutorial

Fixing a graphics card (nVidia 8800GTX) by baking it in the oven. This fixed microfractures in the solder and reconnects the problematic chips (GPU) to the board. This can be done with most graphics card and motherboards if this is the problem. It can even be used to repair a PS3 that has a YLOD or a Xbox360 that has RROD. Although the temperature and bake time may differ. Please do this at your own risk! If you want more details go to- http-//www.overclock.net/nvidia/590817-8800-gtx-ressurected.html Song- Come Clarity by In Flames

    I ressurected 8800gts640 what works 100%!!!!! :D

    Bump this for informative value.

I have baked 2 x 8800 gts, 1 x 8800 gtx and 1 x 9800 gt successfully. One of the gts cards died a week later (different symptoms), but the rest are running happily in relatives computers.

    It's a very simple procedure.

the videocard may explode because the microwave uses electromagnetic.

    i beg to differ
it MAY seem simple, but it is not.
sorry for splitting hairs, but reflow soldering is anything but easy.
i am taking some classes about reworking, and i can tell that beneath the entire process, there is a long story to tell.
    but it may seem simple.
