........... I only had two graphics card in my whole life ............ Bought XFX 5700LE back in 2004 ....... Then I left the gaming scene for 3 - 4 years...... Then few months back I upgraded my system from [Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHZ, 865G Chipset Board, 1GB RAM] which lasted me six years to the machine on the left and bought myself Zotac GTX 460 along with it .............. It was quite a Jump

    Lets see, old to new

    Rage Velocity 128 somethingorother (99-03ish)
    GeForce MX400 (03ish-05ish)
    GeForce MX440 (05ish-06ish)
    GeForce 6600GT 256 MB (AGP) (06ish-08ish)
    GeForce 8800GT 512 MB (08ish-August 2010)
    Radeon HD5970 2GB (August 2010-now)

All the PCs up to the 6600 were bought by my parents, upgraded to the 6600GT myself, then built the 8800GT rig myself, followed by the 5970 rig (current). See if the 6990's any good to upgrade the 5970 :p.

    BLEH!
