I have sold an item on ebay and I need to pay ebay a fee.

It's asked me to sign up to Direct Debit. So I put my details in and when I was reading conditions it says "I understand ebay ebay A.G will chare $8 to my ebay account every transaction. Now is that to pay the fees too. I owe $4.52 to ebay. Through this wil I owe anymore or it's fine to go ahead and accept?

    Thanks!

If you have a paypal account pay them through that.

I am not sure what direct debit it, but it sounds like they are gonna charge you an $8 fee for each transaction.

Direct debit is straight from your bank account to the bill in question.

umm, you can try by going to the paypal website, and they have a pretty good setup system, if you read the instructions.

    Google.com is good as well.

Hmm, ok. I want to avoid as many fees as I can.

So if I go the Personal Account and then send ebay money through there, would that avoid the fees? Or are the fees the same if I go Premier or Business?

    Thanks man,

    Anyone?

I need to know if I should go Personal, Premier or Business. Premier says it's recommended for ebay because it accepts Credit and Debit transactions to and from. But has fees.

The Personal one looks like the cheapest option, but it doesn't accept credit or debit transactions. So could I still make credit and debit transactions to ebay or would I need to go Premier?

    Thanks

fees are unavoidable. Premier is fine if your not selling thousands of items.

use a personal. no fees are taken off incoming transactions. just that you cannot accept cc payments. but in ur auction, you can easily state no cc paypal.

no, once you sign up for premier, you can accept cc payments, but fees will be applied for every incoming transaction, not just only people paying with cc.

    Personal Account

Ideal if you primarily send payments, such as for eBay items or online subscriptions. With a Personal account, you can send and receive money for free—but you cannot accept debit or credit card payments. You will also have access to PayPal’s basic features, including PayPal Buyer Protection on qualifying eBay purchases.

If you do business online, choose a Premier or Business account instead. Both include dozens of exclusive features to enhance and manage your sales. In addition, Premier and Business accounts can accept credit card payments.

    ----------------------------

after signing up paypal will send two transactions to your account. both them usually under 50 cents.

Then you will get those two numbers open up your paypal account and confirm the numbers. Then after that you are set.

If you are selling crap, I highly suggest premier account.

go to your ebay account and click on "seller account." there you should be able to view your invoice and have the option to pay by paypal.

I asks me to pay by Visa. I have a debit card with a Visa (Multi-Access) card. With this work or will I be charged extra from ebay?

Thanks for your help man! :D:D

    pz out

P.S It reads that it will automatically withdraw it from my credit card which woudl actually be my debit card :(

I hope they don't charge $8 as well

It sucks, I don't see an option for PayPal anywhere. They don't help one bit, friggin ebay

    http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/6810/ebay2hs.jpg

Would I be charged if I confirmed this? (Remembering it's a Visa debit card, I have like $8.93 in account) Or would they just take $4.52?

Also I couldn't find any option to pay ebay with paypal. I went in paypal to send money and there was only an option via email :(

    thanks man
