I can't even find pictures of the old stuff (hey, my first PC had a CGA adapter and an 8088, ok?, and before that I had quite a few other setups, including CP/M-80 and MP/M-80 machines). However the first graphics accelerator I remember getting for 3D, was a 3DLabs job that had a dedicated delta and GLint engine. If I search, I'm sure I can find it somewhere here. Id had a voodoo gaming-card for company (and later, a duet of two voodoo2 creative-cards).

Come to think of it, I've always been limited by number of slots on my mainboards... :(

Think it was a Radeon 9500 Pro... Good times :p Such good value for money, I bought it just before 9600 Pro was to be released and it was faster and cheaper than 9600 Pro.

I still have it stored away in a cupboard, it looks exactly like this:

To young to remember wth it was. The oldest one I remember was a TNT2 Ultra and after that a Geforce 3 Ti 500. Can't show any pictures because that would require taking dad's old pentium 4 apart (the geforce 3 is in there).

    Define graphics card....lol.

Are we talking a simple graphics display card, 2D accelerator card or 3D accelerator card, cuz ummm....my first card was back in the mid-80's and was a CGA card like Svein_Skogen. The second card was a 4mb Trident card.
