    ASUS because their product was different from the nvidia reference design. for example, their single slot cooling solution ( running only 5 -10C hotter),when most makers were reference dual solutions. Then they came out with their 6800GE, twelve pipes that cost only a fews dollar more that the 16 pipe GT. And lets not forget their 128MB GT.
    Asus was different.

    I voted bfg cause of the tech support and warranty. I have owned xfx(pine technology) and pny. I must say the pny technology are great cards but a bit pricy in the usa. I must say I really dont like's pny lifetime warranty though. I have to say bfg all the way.

    ive always had bfg products until i biught my ultra, it was a last minute thing and i couldnt find any BFG ultras, however the evga card is clocked at 425/1.1 by factory so i cant complain :)

    XFX 7800GTX 550/1380
    i really like BFG and XFX. my XFX 6800GT overclocks like a dream, and so does my BFG 6800gt. my eVGA 6800 is good too, but just doesnt look as cool as the other 2
