XG 76.41...the drivers i've been waiting for

OK... 4000+ it is then. God I'd like to find out what some of the tweaks you manage for the performance/quality increases, but then I suppose you'd have to shoot me!

i have a problem in medal of honnor AA
when it starts in console it says
"GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem"
any solution?

I have NEVER thought a driver could change THAT much! For my little, shiny 68GT it was like christmas and easter together. Superb IQ and performance increase. Also, I haven't found any bugs at all and the f***ing temperature bug is finally gone! If that's not a reason to be happy! A BIG THANK YOU to the creator(s).

 

I don't mean anything against the creators of this driver, but all the people that have "huge" performance or IQ changes are updating from much older drivers. I wonder if they would be just as well off with the standard 76.41's from Nvidia.

I've tried modded drivers in the past (including the latest XG 75.90a's) and noticed a drop in performance and scores over the standard of that driver.

 

Well, first of all: the "much older driver" from which I updated from was the latest offical release, 71.84. And second: Why should I be lying about what the drivers did to my system? Just to make the creator(s) feel better? I don't think so. I mean, give 'em a try, you'll always be able to change back. Also remember using driver cleaner pro.

Splinter Cell 3 (SCCT) demo runs fine even with PS3 - great!!!

 

Chronicles Of Riddick

Has anyboy tried to run Chronicles Of Riddick with XG's 76.41?

I tried to run it with XG 76.10 after a clean install and got an error message:

Game requires driver to support OpenGL 1.3 or higher.

and the game wouldn't load. Sounds like the MoH problem.

 

plz can anyone compare it with 76.41 rather than other versions , thx ..

 

Yes a comparison to the official 71.84 would be nice

vdaishi sumthing is wrong wit the drivers.

any game i close it will crash.

i did proper uninstallation/installation + i also use driver cleaners.

This was a common problem in the regular nvidia drivers but we fixed it in the 76.41 release. riddick now works.

 

whats it say when you close out of games. and what games.... Nothing is wrong with the drivers :\ your the first person to get this out of the other 5000 people that downloaded this :\ Try reinstalling the drivers and see what happends. Also make sure you have the NEWEST chipset drivers and such.

 

you may lose very little ammount of points because the 76.41 HD have better IQ and 3dmark doesnt matter.... its your gaming experience why dont people stop using 3dmark and that crap and actualy test it ingame :\

 

Indeed, with XG i score 5008 (stock clock) on 3dmark 5

with stock 76.41, i got 5060 (stock clock)..

but CS:S runs hella smoother on XG's

 

maybe i shall stick to the xg75.90a for now they seem to be working fine.

i shall wait for the xg76.41 Final .
