Ill try that out in a sec. But give it another try just to make sure. What exactly did you do in your profiles. were you just setting aa and af and such for your games?

Works great on mine be sure to uninstall previous drivers and such and use driver cleaner before installation. Try again maybe it was just some weird glitch.

idk but modifed Drivers Sucks, because when i install them my games run more slow and the IQ is not great as people say but when i go back to the nvidia drivers it look better and run better.

These drivers are very good, i was using the xg71.84 and decided to try the 76.41 and got a performance boost.

My aquamark score improved from 66305 to 68386.

    IQ still looks great.

Glad to know somebody likes this driver. TW05 won't load with this one for some reason, but does fine with the standard 76.41. That is the only game I am playing at the moment until SC:CT comes out next week. Hopefully it won't bork that game up too. This is the first XG driver that was no good for me. I am staying with DH ZeroPoint 71.84 for the moment....and yes I used DCP.

My 6600GT runs with these just beautifully, too.
Previous 3DMark03 score better, so performance in games.
    Very nice set of beta's.

VDaishi - I can still break 6K with this driver (surprised as the IQ is greater)... very happy with it so far Thank you.

BTW. I was put onto a "hidden BIOS setting" for the K8N Neo2 motherboard that we both use in the Cell menu called "NV/ATI Speedup" by macatak so I investigated it a bit (it is also present in the Neo4 SLI board). You enable this by entering the BIOS and highlighting the "Advanced Chipset" menu, then press Shift+F2 then ALT+F3. If you get it right, a new option is displayed in the "Cell" menu named "NV/ATI Speedup" which by default is set to "Auto". Apparently, it dynamically overclocks the GPU when the need arises but as we are already overclocking, it can cause the GPU to choke a bit. I've disabled the setting and my 3DMark05 score for the XG 76.41 HD driver is only a tad behind that of the XG 76.10's (6002 compared to 6015). :D

Thanks, CPU is running stock because I haven't worked out how to overclock successfully yet :(. GPU @455, Memory @1231 (air-cooled using the copper HSF on the "golden sample" card). BTW. Both those score in my previous post are clickable to the ORB compare links.

Now, if I can just work out how to kill NAV and Internet Security to free up some processing power...

I've re-installed the XG 76.10's to see if I can boost my score some more (for ORB bragging only :D). Anyway, I'll have to play some more later after I've done my bookwork (own business financial crap).

PS. Daishi, I noticed you settled on the 4000+... how do you find it over the 3500+ ? I'm thinking of getting one on the near future.

the HD hit my performance by 100 3dmarks in 05. i am gonna stick with the 75.90a's because i oc and get no temp bug, and they give me the best benches and ingame stability (far cry, d3 etc)

Oops, my bad. I'm considering the 4000+ or if I'm patient enough to save a bit more, the FX-55 (my son can move into the AMD world once I've done this and I get him a new motherboard. He currently has a Prescott 3.0G albeit running a 5700 so his 05 score is around 650 marks!)

    BTW. Don't you ever sleep?

Sleep is obsolete :\ heh you can get a 4000+ now for like 540 Bucks and the Fx-55 is still in the 800's so its really not worth it. 4000+ is same thing as fx-53 cept u cant increase multiplyer. But who needs multi increase anyone you wont ever use it.
