Currently I am running an EVGA GeForce GTX 460 1GB, which honestly I am pretty happy with..

I just acquired a second hand XFX HD 5830 1GB... and was just wondering... would it be a bit more powerful than my video card?

It's pretty dirty, actually, it's filthy, but I can clean it up if it would be worth it.

The 460 1GB slightly outperforms the 5830 1GB slightly both OCed and at stock.

    460 is a bit faster

If not mistaken your 460 can overclock quite easily from 675 to ~950, i dunno if the red one can.And i think the 5830 is a power hunger.
