I was wondering if http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150285 would be a decent video card for someone not wanting to spend a arm and a leg I'm looking to play like NFS: Undercover, call of duty5,maybe fallout 3,Warhammer online. i have a intergrated NVIDIA GeForce 7050 / nForce 610i atm just got the comp. i have 2 gigs of ram and a dual-core cpu so i'm good there just looking for a solid card under a hundred bux.

8500s suck the best one listed is the 9600 gt then the 4670 from ati those are the only 2 in my opinion worth spending money on. you will be very happy with the purchase and it should last you a while.

    Don't buy an 8600 mate.

No offence intended but it is a card that Nvidia would rather quietly forget they ever made.....

just because it has 2 gigs of ram does not make it better. the type of ram the speed the bit path all are important not just size.

Seriously, listen to the people ;) alot of people make the mistake of making a thread and completely ignoring peoples advice, then they come back complaining that their hardware doesnt run this or that.

DO NOT get an 8500/8600, they are absolute garbage, and as Pillmonster said, they are the two cards nVidia wish they could quietly sweep under the rug.

If you want to spend around $70, get the 9600GT, you won't be dissapointed

Well it's better than that onboard piece of garbage. You might aswell play games at low quality than not at all...
