Always heard about XFX but only recently there's a dealer officially import this brand, and for me, in order to play Medal of Honor Airborne, I moved up from ASUS 7900GS to this as well.

There's one slightly wierd thing happened though: after installed I let coolbit (using NvTweek to unlock it under Forceware 163.44) pick the clock speed - it rolled me a 718MHz/1.08GHz setup, and it screwed up at World in Conflict demo (at the menu, long before I go to the benchmark)...obviously, even if it actually can run at 45% faster, stock cooler won't handle it.

Currently, I run it at 570MHz / 955MHz, and stable thus far, 62 degrees celcius @ loading. This is obviously conservative figure, so I wonder if anyone have pushed this card to the tip, using stock cooler? And, I wonder if the Zalman solution would be helpful in this respect?

Buddy, your's the Extreme version, and mine is the lowest of the trio.

Currently, it stable @ 600/970MHz, 56C idle and 62C on full load (run benchmark w/ World in Conflict demo, Company of Heros and played 1 hr on Medal of Honor Airborne), stock cooler. Is that good stat, or just a bit too conservative?

Actually, I have that same card, and I went to 634/1916 (621 really, due to the card clockgen), 100% stable, but one step more of overclock and it artifacts like hell.

Mine can go to 621/1950 but I keep the core @ 600 cuz 21mhz never gave a performance improvement. I've tried to go to 2000 on the memory but it gives me artifacts. Still I'm happy with my overclock :)
