are you sure an i5-750 @ 3.6GHz can bottleneck these cards?

As the friend above, I would understand a low scaling if we had a CPU bottleneck, but as the other guys ( who have completely different systems from me) the scaling is absolute 0.

I think that he's refering to the Core 2 Duo. That CPU at 3.8GHz is plentyful on a Crossfire setup except in scenarios where game benefits from more than two threads like GTA4. CPU bottlenecks are overrated, check CPU bottlenecking articles around and the only series of cards that can be bottlenecked by over 30% are the GTX 580 due to Fermi's crave for CPU power for unknown reasons.

So, what is happening with these cards and we have these strange scaling results?

Is it a driver or a hardware issue....?

I got the exact result with 2x6950 in CF in Crysis Warhead. Seem to be a bug with it or I dunno.

I know this thread is kinda old, but i am sure that lot of people dont know what it is really going on and blaming ATI crew about low CF fps. i was looking for my issue and i found "Ben1979"'s threads on like 3 forums. I got same problem when i put my 2x5770 into P45 Platinum/Zilent motherboard. It has 2x PCI-E @ 16 (@x8/@x8 with CF)
Dirt 2 benchmark @1680x1050 with ulta setting gives me average round 38-46 fps depends on driver i use. I tested more then 10 drivers from 9.12 (dirt 2 fix driver) till last one 11.11c. With one card i can easily get average round 50-56 fps (depends on driver). Now i will sell this awesome looking motherboard, that no any review page mentioned anything about this issue, and be satisfied with some 970-990 ATI chipset. I dont want to post any pic of what i am typing here. You believing me or not i still got the issue. Nowdays we have BF3/Rage/Skyrim issue and alot blame drivers or game developers. I would look into their hardwares. Dont let me see you got P45/P55/X58 chipset in there .....................
