Aight, this 177.70  seems to be more stable than my previous drivers which its the 177.66 (which i had crashes and the nvidia sentinel keep telling me i dont have enough power... weird :3eyes:).

I juz did CompanyofHeroes : OppossingForce benchmark:-
    1920x1200res + NoAA + All High Settings on WinXP32bit
    AVG 123.8fps
    MAX 269fps
    MIN 45.2fps

Will do some 3Dmark benchy later ;)

    Cheers :D

Gotta agree with AOC. No artifacting or 2x4's sticking out of player model's heads like 177.66. Seems they are also getting better with the shader 3.0 issue with fire in villas. I say getting better because it is better, but still not perfect. In prior 177 drivers, when entering a villa with fire, my framerates would drop to 10 or below(normal FPS is 60+). Now, in the villa with fire, it only drops to 25-30 and stays normal if I'm not facing the fire.

    So they are making progress.

Anyone running these on a mobile card that can tell if they're still causing higher temps? 177.66 made my 8600m gt run much hotter than any other driver so far

rofl.... yea the "two by fours" sticking outta peoples heads really was the reason i quit using 177.66 ;)

it just bugged the crap outta me for some reason.

ah but the major difference is guru doesn't go around to other forums posting them.
Plus i believe nvidia required them to change the main logo when modifying the inf file.

fr33k, those guys are not from some english site, and it's not even sure that they post them here themself.
Plus that some of us got good experience with these drivers, so we are happy to get them.
I couldn't care less about the logo added, those site links your talking about I don't see either.
Maybe cause I'm using 7z and extract the files. Logo doesn't pop up here either when I run the drivers setup.
So its really no problem when the logo and site-links are shown cause you run the selfextracting exe.
You ever seen the Z-Tweaked, NGO, Omega, DNA, Starforce or Xtreme-G drivers? I think they all came with logos and links.
So I really don't get what hurts you so much.
Your working for nVidia or got stocks in some driver department?

I have to agree. These drivers run awesome with my GX2 under Vista x64.

This is how we get our drivers seen as Nvidia don't do the *****, so im all for the leaked/modded ones, as if it wasn't for them, we would have no bloody drivers.

    Hello,
I ve just build an 9800gx2 quad sli pc or at least trying to :).
The problem is that when I enable quad sli using 177.66 and 177.70 (which seems to be the best drivers for a single 9800gx2) cannot run anything.
I got black screen in every application I am trying. While with 175.19 everything seems to run ok but not too much of good results in fps.
Any idea of what is wrong or what I am doing wrong?Any other driver
    suggestion for best results?

havnt seen anyone with good results yet using quad-sli and the 177.x beta drivers... just keep tryin the new drivers as they come out, maybe the final version of these (supposed to be out next month) will improve quad-sli

I'm finding these are good drivers. I can't see any difference in iQ between these and 177.66 but fps are up in all games I've tried them in.

However in profiles if I set it to show "Only programs installed on this computer" I get no list. If I try and add one manually then the CP crashes.

As for the logo added, I never see it because I always install through device manager. So I haven't got a problem with that.

    This lol.

I had to remove my overclock to play mass effect. Passes stability tests but not the mass effect test =p

Have to agree with everyone else though. Seems like 177.66 in performance and IQ. I haven't had a computer sleep/hibernate BSOD or any random BSOD's while I'm watching a movie or surfing the net with these so far, and they were happening quite often with 177.66.

Well, since i tried to run 177.72 on XP and was actually able to install them with a few issues only (yeah right..) these drivers seem to be better at everything D:
from Folding, to every game i have. got around... 150 PPD improvement

In DMC4, i got an A, downloaded the demo since everyone here seems to use it as Benchmark reference. Didnt take a screenshot though.

EDIT: Oh and better OC capabilities than 177.66, managed to get these clocks
    765/1928/1136
    as previous...
