I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem.

When I try to resume from s3 state the computer starts running but the screens stay black.
If I disable SLI there is no problem resuming from S3.

On multilple sites I read this an X58 bug.

So what I would like to know is which board you're using which cards and what driver version.

    I'll start with my setup.

    Asus P6T deluxe V2 bios revision V3.02
    EVGA GTX260SSC core 216 55nm WHQL 182.50 in SLI
    1200W Sirtec High Power

    Just regged for that problem.
i have the same issues with GTX295 and Disabling SLi fixes it aswell (i did alot of research on this and youre the first guy who really found the problem and did not just reinstall everything 10 times and rma all of his parts lol)

S3 has alot of problems and every component can be victim of S3 recalls (coolers, vga, ram, etc.) also performance problems after a S3 recall seem to be standard.

So just Turn your PC Off and On like normal users and it's fine. for now S3 doesn't seem to be more than a useless gimmick, even less because it affects the Computer.

Sleep modes are really bad for your PC to begin with. It's better to just shut it down for a few hours.
