X-Fi Fatal1ty have died?

    uhhh sounds like yer PCI slots are fubar. Hmm too bad you dont have an X-fi Titanium to try PCI-e. Might work then who knows.

    I'd hate to think it's your MB in this situation, but its possible.

    From what it sounds like , it sure do sound like its the mobo as the pci slots can just die out of the blue.

    I thought about PCI slot failure, but sound is normal through headphones (I/O panel). Information is coming through PCI slot to sound card and when to headphones. Thinking in that way, PCI slot can not be broken. Will report, when Forte will be in my hands.

    That's all I got out of my Platinum, 3 years.

    My old SBLive! is still in the my buddy's daughter's computer.
