Any schedule for the content updates atm?
Gonna grab this already either way.
Not yet. But as soon as we have something, I'll be sure to post it here.
WRATH: AEON OF RUIN CONTENT UPDATE 2 IS NOW LIVE! ALSO - THE BIG BOX FOUNDERS EDITION - LIMITED TO ONLY 500 COPIES -
Damn I just started playing day before yesterday, all progress lost lol. Love the game tho, glad they're doing timely updates
Really looking forward to this one, shame the full game isn't released until next year but plenty of games to play until then
We haven't properly announced it yet, so I didn't make a new thread for it.
But... 3D Realms are working on a couple new, unrevealed FPS projects. And Fred has teased the name for one...
We have a proper reveal planned. But until then...
A few details released about the project....
Fred - "If Ion Fury was 1996, and Wrath was 1997, then this is 1998"
It's Unreal Engine 4, made to look like Unreal 1.
Also, Chuck Jones is working on the project. And Stephan Weyte has recorded voice work for it.
I'm super excited for this one to be properly revealed, it is so awesome.
1998... Half Life?
On a tangent, has anyone heard anything about Prodeus?
Prodeus is doing a closed Alpha demo for Kickstarter backers.
The keys have started releasing to backers. They are releasing the keys in waves, based on the Backer Tier.
It is a closed demo, so don't expect any previews, content creator videos. Nothing is allowed to be shared.
This is just so they can get direct feedback on the game so the Early Access build will be even better.
I'm waiting on my key, should get it in the next few days.
Good to hear things are moving along, thanks.
As for that 3DR teased game I started thinking it could be something akin to Thief but New Blood Interactive is working on Gloomwood so idk if both would want to operate from the same base material.
For some reason that teaser image also gives a Shadow Warrior vibe to me but tbh Devolver and FWH are already handling that so hopefully not.
Or... could this be a reimagination of the Quake RPG?
Bought and started playing this game today.
Gameplay is fun and intense. Levels are huge and well designed.
Graphics are retro, but the art direction is superb.
Sound is meaty and crunchy. And the music gives it the perfect ambiance.
Can't wait for the full release in February.
Glad to hear it.
Content Update #3 is now available! Featuring a brand new level, new enemy and a new artifact.
This is the last content update of the Early Access campaign, the next update will be the full release later this year.
This completes the first Hub (minus the boss), all five levels.
Very good! I can't wait for the full thing to come out!
Does it have proper retro fps quicksave yet?
I played a bit of the update 2, and loved it.
But I think I'll wait for the final release, before installing it again.
The game still uses Soul Tethers and Shrines.
Soul Tethers are bound to F2, and F3 brings up the menu to load a chosen save file.
The save system will not be changing.
I found myself avoiding trying to go after some secrets because of the tether system.
On other games, when I have to make some big jump or complex action to get to a secret, I always save, so that if I fail, I don't have to repeat climbing back to the same spot.
