Shows that memory on a video card does not matter as much as the GPU for all those noobs out there you ask is your care 128MB or 256MB. If you say 128MB and you have 6800 and another guy says 256MB and he has a 5200 then the noob will think the 5200 is better.

    (Sorry I went off topic)

This card will never use more than 128MB of its ram as the fill rate of the card is not high... also for a 6800u 512mb vram are too much...no sens

yeah i was just bragging about the price of the card and its ddr2 its not much more than the 6600 so if your going for a card in the 6600 model i would go for that card but jerin222 thats not true about people i know the complete differnece between nvidia cards and some radeons i know about pixel pipelines, sm shaders which are vertex and pixel shaders i know alittle more about them and yes i know the card cant use 512mb vram but i was going on about the price 135 for a 512mb card when the 6800u is 459 or something like that

I rather wait for the 512MB 7800GTX. That card is planned for x-mas. :)

More VRAM does not equal a better card

    eg
    my 5600NU had 256
    my 6600GT has 128

    Guess which is faster...... ;)

Well if VRAM could really make the difference then does a 512MB 6200 outperform a 256MB 5950XT ???

hell no, thats like asking if a pentium 3 with 4 GB of ram outperforms a P4 at 3 GHz with 1 GB of ram

and im getting tired of this too, im actually surpised people even think a 512 6200 would be kick ass, imho its 384 megs of useless ram on that card...
