would this 1065T help alleviate some cpu bottleneck?

I think im experiencing some heavy cpu bottleneck in bot Starcraft2 and DayZ

im on 4850 crossfire and a x2 7750BE@3.0 which is basically a set of 3ghz phenom II cores. I have an opportunity to get a 1065T for cheap which is x6 2.9ghz phenom II cores....

so I dont think ill free up any bottleneck, or if so maybe very little in both games.

Those 2 like strong per core performAnce, ie i5 from intel.
You might get a 15% improvement but it might not be worth it depends on how cheap it is

Your 7750 is a Phenom I, not Phenom II. The 1065T will annihilate it.

Kuma was barely faster than Athlon 64.

@OP; some FYI keep an eye out for a 1075 or 1090 too, they're unlocked and hit ~4Ghz on air. The 1065 will still OC but only by raising the fsb which is a PITA tbh.

955 X4's with B3 stepping usually do ~4Ghz as well. Btw the 960T is really an X6 Thurban with 2 disabled cores, these can be unlocked on some boards.

I went from a 950BE (4 cores) to a 1090T six cores, and I am very happy with the upgrade!
