    Hey guys,

Just need some opinion, i have an ageing but well overclocked phenom 1 9850 thats been in my system for a while, and since xmas is coming up with all the discounts i could get my hands on a potential athlon 2 x4 640 under $100.

Would you guys consider this an upgrade over the current processor ? if i get it i plan to oc it to atleast 3.5-3.6 max (not planning on going to 4 ghz), i just want to know that if you guys think its a move worth doing..am also a casual gamer that plays bfbc2 and cs 1.6/source and little bit of encoding.

    Thanks for the advice upfront.

    g.

I can tell you from experience going from the old phenom to the new quadcores was well worth the money. Much much faster in games.
